What will the full Moon in Scorpio see? It’s very hard to keep Scorpio in the dark. A full Moon in Scorpio sheds light like no other, dark light.
At this moment of fullness there seems to be a concordance of planets in chorus with the Luminaries (Sun and Moon)
How will a watery Mars energize the Sun in Taurus (Earth) and Moon in Scorpio (Water)?
Chiron, may hold the key to the way we feel Mars energy clearing blocks. Saturn has his own plans for future visions. Let’s hope a world conference on climate is awake. The Teacher is making a powerful square to Sun, and the quirky Uranus. Saturn also squares Venus and Mars. Is this a damper on the joy of this season or a promise to give structure to a worldwide wake up to climate change?
Beltane comes at the end of this week and the Taurus Sun will warm our circle of celebration for the fertility of this moment of blossom and new green shoots, but Scorpio Moon also celebrates the cleansing power of death.
Tonight is the full Moon of Saile…Willow, The Moon’s most powerful expression. Willow grows near water and is the original source of the pain killer, aspirin. Yet Saille, Willow is sacred to the goddesses of death, Hecate, Circe, Caileach.
Willow Wand
When the wind sweeps
the basket of my body,
I feel each of the ribs,
once Willow’s wands,
which bent and swayed
near water, under Moon.
I know myself water,
tears and sparkling smiles,
laughter and shadow,
the form transformed,
pushed by the torrent
or held in the trickle.

Somewhere there is a spring, water coming from out of the earth, where the celebration of this Moon begins. Find your source of water, to heal, to celebrate to refresh you. There is no sacred moment without the presence of water. The process of birth begins when the waters break loose and flow.
And then, even if it is midday and no full Moon is yet visible, give honor to the source of renewal, Water, the Moon, the joy of Taurus, the depth of feeling, Scorpio as they dance across the circle from one another.
