‘A PATH THROUGH WOODS BRILLIANT WITH MULTICOLORED SPLENDOR’   is the Sabian Symbol* for the degree of the full Moon in Scorpio, which has been rising each night with the growing excitement of a large and energetic ‘Super’ Moon.  The   elation and promise of each full Moon is balance, or opposition, or synthesis, depending on how we receive the energy of contrast.  It’s having everything, amalgam, or feeling conflicted and torn limb from limb.  Here in the Northern Hemisphere, Taurus Sun  shines on new leaves and blossoms.  In the blossoming beauty of Taurus, the seeds of the next year are forming which will be ready for harvest in the time of Scorpio.  With the full Moon we dance in both seasons.  Taurus carries the beauty and sexual excitement of Venus, and Scorpio has the intensity of the dark mysteries of Pluto and the powerful male energy of Mars.

This is a Moon of transfiguration and of seeds. Now we see buds, but they will swell, blossom, unfurl into leaves, swell as fruit and then drop as seeds.  We are living in a whirl of hope and despair as our world dances to the music of the pandemic which sweeps across our earth.  The relationship of the planets to the Sun and Moon are constructing the new forms of organization as the solid Earth power of Capricorn transmutes into the visionary nature of Aquarius, an Air sign.   I think humanity’s efforts to stop the plague of Covid 19 will will take new form and direction over the next few weeks, as the inventiveness of Aquarius takes hold.  Something new and unknown wants to be born in this moment of  peak energy.

In this mysterious etching we see someone who has passed head and hand through the borders of one orderly cosmos into another.  The plague has imposed an alternative existence on the human species, just as we have imposed our reality on many others. We have entered a state of universal transformation.  Each person experiences this in a particular way, but we are united by our experience of metamorphosis.

full Moon in Scorpio 2020

Since January, and the first appearance of the virus, which rocks our lives, there has been a crowd of planets gathered  in Capricorn.   Capricorn is organizational, structured, conservative and structured.  Now the crowd migrates into Aquarius, a very different sign.  Capricorn and Aquarius are traditionally ruled by Saturn, but two very different versions of Saturn.    Saturn is the guiding principle of life on earth, the karmic scales.   As the ruler of Capricorn, Saturn teaches the principles of architecture:  organization, financial and government structures.   In Aquarius, Saturn teaches vision, technology, and structures, we cannot yet fully grasp.

This morning a friend told me about a dream he had of a three eyed Raven.  Since he is a Celtic language scholar, and the Raven is a bird of magic and speech, this might be a symbol of thought and alternative communication,  more accessible to him during this period.  The symbol of Aquarius is The Star card  in the Tarot deck.  Aquarius has a message about soul purpose, and is an illustration of our spirit before birth making a promise.  In a matter of a few months, all of humanity has been faced with a vision we did not see coming.  Our Third Eye, mental communication,  like the Raven is now open.

There are eight, eight-pointed stars in the picture.   This is not a sky we see from the planet earth.  What takes place here is a combination of the material and spiritual  shape which the soul will take in the form of a human being.   The number 8 is the symbol for eternity.  We bring our eternal and our ever-changing nature into our incarnation.

tree star                                              photo: Bruce Lhuillier

The Star is a symbol of hope.  Have you noticed the brightness of Venus the past few weeks?   She is in Gemini,  where the North Lunar Node recently entered after a year of tussle  between Capricorn…Business, the Bottom Line, and Cancer, the home, the people, the loving care of the Mother.   We are all at home now…and ready to learn new forms of communication, whether on line (Aquarius) or just shouting over the fence to our neighbors (Gemini).

I think we have to be very aware of a perfect square between Eris, lady of conflict and chaos and Pluto, lord of death, rebirth, and the underworld.  We might also look to Neptune (misty confusion, mysticism, illness) in Pisces her sign of rulership. She is in an exact aspect to Mercury in Gemini, his sign of rulership.  This makes the healer and communicator, Mercury and the  mysterious Plague (Neptune) equally powerful.  It doesn’t look as if quarantine (Jupiter and Pluto conjunct in Capricorn) will clear quickly.   But the Earth continues to offer us love and beauty.  A thousand Taurus Suns blossom in the meadows, as the humble Dandelion opens to cleanse us of fear and sorrow.

There is one planet who will not move into Aquarius this year. Pluto  stays in Capricorn until 2024.    He is partnered with Mars as ruler of the Moon’s sign, Scorpio.

Amelia Leonards and I have been at work on a series we hope will become astrology oracle and teaching cards.   Each new Moon she designs an illustration for the sign of the Sun and Moon.  At the full Moon she illustrates the ruler of the Moon’s sign.  This full Moon is dedicated to Pluto.

Illustration of Pluto, Lord of the Underworld- Amelia Leonards.

Pluto rules an underground kingdom where the dead gather and meander. As an outer planet with a large orbit, he moves through each sign for twelve  to thirty one years, and so becomes the marker for a generation of people born while he is in that sign.    His placement and aspects to other planets in the natal chart mark deep and recurring issues which must be faced.   Like Death, he is transformational, intense, the crisis which cannot be ignored.  Pluto can best be understood and felt through the story of Persephone and Hades.  Earth Mother, Demeter’s daughter, Persephone is taken into the underworld kingdom of Hades.   Her mother is distraught and does not know where she is.  The Earth begins to die in Demeter’s grief and the other gods agree to intervene.   Persephone  is returned to her mother, but because she ate pomegranate seeds in Hades, she must return each year at the fall equinox.   She is the queen of the Underworld, but a queen in exile.  Through facing dark Plutonic issues,  losing our ‘maiden’ innocence, we come into our powers, take a hand in our fate, and are reborn to many new aspects of our life.   The poppys in the illustration symbolize the old notion of death as a sleep from which we awaken to new life.

Full Moon in Libra 2020 hug

The pattern of the planets at the moment of the full Moon on Tuesday is stark in its power and simplicity.   Except for the Moon herself, all other planets and the Sun are held within the crescent of the Lunar Nodes.  This basic pattern is known as a ‘bucket’, with the Moon as the ‘handle.’   You don’t have to know much astrology to see  a tremendous amount of energy is pouring  towards and from the Moon.  The whole chart is focused on her high and solitary  place in the sky holding balance with the rest of the planets, and pouring the love of Venus (Libra)  into a cauldron of destruction and blessing (Pluto/Jupiter),  and construction and healing  (Saturn/Mars/Chiron).

At this moment, she appears closest to the earth during her monthly journey.  Her size and brightness are a celebration of light, called a ‘super Moon, the largest of 2020.  The Moon is in an apparent conversation with our planet,  and in this time of plague, stillness and quarantine, her message of beauty and balance is palpable, a cosmic conversation!

figure with scales color.jpg                                            Photo: Bruce Lhuillier

The Moon’s position in the sky is in Libra, the Scales.  Libra is a sign of balance, and those blessed with a Libra Moon learn early in life to find a safe place between extremes. Delicate  and difficult work,  diplomacy is an art, with a fateful teacher!  Venus ‘rules’ the sign of Libra in beauty and with a loving nature, but the teacher Saturn finds his  ‘exaltation’ in this sign as well. The Saturnic presence is a reminded that Libra is deeply connected to karma as well as romance and beauty in partnership and marriage.   Libra  demands separation and balance in relationships. Each partner must have space to breath, with a commitment to justice. When that sense of fairness and balanced separation is trampled, there is explosive psychic pain for Libra Moon.

The ‘Sabian Symbol’* for the degree of the Aries Sun offers a surprisingly accurate and positive spin on the worldwide disruption and quarantine thrust upon us.  The many relationships (aspects) between planets in this chart  weaves a powerful tapestry felt worldwide.

‘THE “MAGIC CARPET” OF ORIENTAL IMAGERY.  KEYNOTE: The use of creative imagination. A way of life refusing a hectic involvement in social competition and waste-producing overproduction allows for the development of unattached and transcendent understanding…. The period of rest from outwardly directed activity bound to collective normality presents the creative mind with the possibility of surveying in dreams the totality of the present-day social situation, thus “to see whole.”‘

The picture  above of a Skunk Cabbage spadex (seed) is eerily similar to diagrams of the Covid-19 virus.  We could look at the astrology chart to ask what is the soul purpose of this entity which has isolated and united us all?   And if we don’t fear, but attempt to understand, what can we hope to accomplish together?   Will our quarantine remind us we are part of the larger design, (Venus/Chiron)  or just make us fear each other?  Might America finally acknowledge that health and food and home security belong to everyone?

fungus Moon                              Photo:  Bruce Lhuillier

For those of us with shelter and food enough to take advantage of this enforced time of reflection, it is a gift of communal opportunity.  Nature has become a place of solace and healing for throngs of people.  As I wander deeper and deeper into the woods, everything  seems more and more beautiful, strange and magical.  Today I met a black water snake, who was probably about to leave her old skin for a new one.  On my return journey s/he had formed an ouroboros, in preparation for transformation.

I had great difficulty in writing this Moon blog. I wrote, erased  and rewrote over three days. I so wanted to speak about the clarity and possibility I see here, but it all sounds like platitudes.   The astrology chart is a pattern of a moment in time.  We are told by the wise to live deeply in the present moment. The new and full Moons are moments when we are united the world over in a particular visual pattern of time.  When astrology is used to feel the depth and import of a moment, it is truly a gift from the cosmos.  This chart is a  perfect mirror to the moment we dwell in today.  At this precious hour as the Moon fills and lights the night sky, we can honor what animals and plants all over the globe feel and see together. We can see what our ancestors saw, and hope our children will continue to see– our beautiful sister in the sky.   .

Venus is the ‘ruler’ of Libra.  Here we continue with the series of beautiful paintings by Amelia Leonards to illustrate what this planet offers us, and how we can meet her in conversation.   How potent,  that at this moment of worldwide fear, illness and death, the full Moon is under the rule of Love, the planet Venus.

Venus-1200                                           painting: Amelia Leonards

Love and beauty,  money and sensuality are associated with the goddess Aphrodite, the planet Venus in an astrology chart. Venus is known as the ‘ruler’ of two signs: Taurus and Libra at two very different seasons of the year!  Venus as she dances in Earth sign Taurus is sensual, spring-like and fertile. Libra Venus is aesthetic and balanced, an Airy  Venus who designs and appreciates beauty in the season of harvest.  The full Moons of Taurus and Libra balance out that seasonal polarity.  We have a full Moon in Libra at springtime to balance the Aries Sun, and a fertile Taurus Moon as the growing season ends during the time of Scorpio.

Whatever her sign, Venus is never far from the Sun.  This sparkling diamond, so beautiful at twilight or dawn  can awaken us to her power,  enchant us, break open our heart with deep feeling, and initiate us into her transformative powers, with no rules but her own.  She is associated with the  pentacle because she seems to move across the sky on a five step journey over eight years. She moves from  evening star to dawn light and  for a part of the cycle disappears completely.  Her pentacle is found in the heart of the apple, and  in our form as human beings.  The star shape of the pentacle is protective and part  of most magical rituals.

Venus in our chart speaks of how we love, whom we love, and what we find beautiful.   Venus is associated with all five-petaled flowers, but especially the Rose,  an eternal symbol of love, with thorns, and, like love, can hurt us even as we embrace the Venus experience.  But Love takes many shapes and has numerous special plants and animals sacred to her.  Myrtle, doves, dolphins, swans and the pomegranate are among her symbols.  The Cypress tree is hers because she was born in the Sea off the island of Cypress.  To bring her presence fully into our life, we must look for her at the edges of the day, sunrise and sunset, in sources of water, springs sacred to her presence, wherever beauty is found, and walk willingly through a thorny hedge to find her.

Each full Moon propels us to rock between two contrary seasons and ‘opposite’ signs!  For me, this spring has been an endless ricochet between the beauty of the earth held in the horns of Taurus,

and the deep wet chasm of death, Scorpio, washing through me,  which ties me up each spring between joy and despair!

The desire to hold on to the beauty of this moment, this time, is the the Taurus Sun.

But the profound desire of Scorpio to understand mortality, to plunge into the depths of our spiritual nature held in this full Moon.   This is the measure of the art of Alchemy, which arises each spring in my heart:

Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing.’ August Wilson

As an angel, Michael seems to have an ethereal approach to his battle with a snarky demon, but for most of us, it’s not so easy.   This battle is reflected in the astrology chart for the full Moon with Saturn and Pluto in friendly relations with both Moon and Sun.  They demand our attention, perhaps to say:  ‘you are making to much of your demons.’

Full Moon in Scorpio 2019

All this reflected in the Sabian Symbol for the degree of the Moon:   The King of the fairies approaching his domain. …..beyond both outer nature and the realm of the proud ego, a spiritual world exists to which the intuitive consciousness of man can pay allegiance.  This is the deep work of Scorpio.   And this is the Desire body which all Western mystery traditions hope to develop in us.  It is our ability to sense spiritual messages in the material body, which is part of this tradition.   Scorpio is often associated with sexuality because in moments of intense love making we understand, through the body’s pleasure,  that our spirit has no boundaries.

Taurus Sun and season is talking of Desire for something, someone outside of ourselves. Love in the spring season (Taurus); when everything is about love, is ruled by the Lady of Love herself, Venus.  At this moment Venus is also in the sign of Taurus, and she is in the company of that crazy planet, Uranus, who says there are always new ways to be yourself.  Venus and Taurus make a nice aspect to Mars, Scorpio’s ruler.  So it seems that the desire of Taurus and the desire of Scorpio speak to each other at this moment of full expression!

Mercury, the magician, the healer, the speaker is whispering in the ear of the Taurus Sun on Saturday evening.   The full Moon opens us to greater depths of communication.  Scorpio Moon asks us to explore what moonlight has to offer in familiar places.  Instead of holding tight to the days of spring unfolding, I will try to open my hand to the message of wider light and meaning…

We are half way through the astrological year which begins in March with the Sun’s entry into Aries.  Monday, Sun and Moon meet in the 15th degree of Libra, half way through that sign.  We are once more at a place of balance between dark and light, but headed towards the darkest moment of the year.  We feel it in our bodies, and in the rapid approach of evening.

Persephone, the wife of Hades returns to her kingdom in the Underworld.

Upon her sudden entrance

to the Kingdom of the Dead,

the childlike Persephone

was transformed,

her light stripped away.

For no maiden

may walk the halls of Hades.

Yet the story does not end here,

in shame and loss.

While the gateway was harsh,

the castle was full of pleasures,

and Persephone came to cherish

the shadowless towers,

the rolling dark meadows,

and strange fruit and flowers.

Those who have not traveled these lands

should not speak of their imagined gloom.

She who had once run carefree,

a flower by her mother’s side,

now walked with purpose,

her household in awe

of her quiet gaze.

poem: Sarah Fuhro

Today Venus begins to travel in retrograde.  She starts the journey in Scorpio, a location full of deep feeling and intensity, and then reenters Libra, a place of balance.  She visits a sign ruled by Mars (Scorpio), and then settles back into a sign ruled by Venus (Libra). With Venus in retrograde we all have an opportunity to see ourselves in  relationships as our lovers and partners see us.  Venus retrograde holds the mirror up to us.

new moon in Libra 2018

Persephone’s mother, Demeter/Ceres is one degree from the new Moon.  Perhaps the relationship we must reflect upon during this Venus retrograde is a connection to our mother, the Earth.  But we are interwoven with Earth.  How can we ‘relate’ to her?   Perhaps through the relationship of the Moon and the Sun we can understand the way to live in harmony with our planet.  The Sabian Symbol for the degree where Ceres is located is:  ‘Circular Paths.’   ‘It is only when the individual has become fully attuned to, and in a sense identified with the vast planetary and cosmic rhythms of the universe, and thus free from emotional and group tensions, that he can act serenely and at peace along ‘circular paths.'” Dane Rudhyar, The Astrology of Personality.

‘A veiled prophet speaks, seized by the power of a god.’

Ghostly figure BL

photo: Bruce Lhuillier

This is the Sabian Symbol for the degree of the Capricorn full Moon. Who is the ‘veiled prophet,’ and which god is speaking?   Perhaps the god is Saturn, one degree away from the Moon. Saturn’s degree image: ‘ten logs lie under an archway leading to darker woods.’

forest path BL                                             photo: Bruce Lhuillier

He invites us into the darkness of the woods at midnight when the Moon will be exactly full (Wednesday in the Eastern zone of the United States). We need that darkness in order to fully experience the light of the Moon!

Full Moon from Ginger                          photo: Virginia McEachern

Saturn is very comfortable in Capricorn. The Moon in Capricorn does not feel at home, because the sign, which she rules is Cancer, on the opposite side of the chart.   She is out of her ‘element, ‘ alone with Saturn, and to further the discomfort, she is partially eclipsed. The chart has many dramatic possibilities.

Full Moon in Capricorn 2018

The degree of the Sun has this beautiful image:   ‘Two nature spirits dancing under the moonlight’! And Saturn’s degree: ‘Ten logs lie under an archway leading to dark woods,’says we must go deeper to find the magical circle where the spirit dance takes place.

Magic circle.jpg BL                                              photo: Bruce Lhuillier

Capricorn, where the Moon is in her full form this month is an Earth sign.   The Earth element is about manifestation, what we experience with the five senses. The symbol for the Earth element is a pentacle, held in the star at the heart of an apple, the pattern of the cycle of Venus. The pentacle is also a reminder that that there are four elements and spirit. And the pentacle is a reminder of our human form. We are made of the five elements and five senses.

afac82f9e232e477bc74132725a02d4f                         https://www.pinterest.ie/pin/269160515204178002/

Most occult traditions insist on our participation in the earth dance.   To be a magician is to be involved in the everyday work of this planet. Before we can step deeper into the forest under the full Moon at midnight, we must attend to the Capricorn business of earning a living in some form. We have to wash the dishes, and live with our family and community in a responsible way. We are under the rules of Saturn on this planet, but he keeps his promise: Manifestation of your desire awaits the completion of the task you have undertaken.

Goat head bas relief BL                                              photo: Bruce Lhuillier

Chiron is also in the mix of this chart. He will heal our wounds, if we accept our contradictions. We are strong and vulnerable, angry and loving, responsible and ready to run from what we know is required of us.   Chiron in Aries is the wounded warrior. He might be our impulse to seek excitement rather than the focused attention on our task we have pledged through Saturn.

circlet of green BL                          photo: Bruce Lhuillier

And I cannot ignore the role of Uranus, the revolutionary, the unexpected, the disrupter and transformer.   He is at a degree in Taurus, which connects him to the Moon and Saturn. They are all in earth signs, but he is the god who strikes from the sky. His Sabian Symbol is ‘an electrical storm.’

Halibut Pt storm clouds                   photo: Robert Fuhro

A full Moon with everything…a message from a god through a veiled prophet, nature spirits to be found if we go deeper into the dark woods and just as we are ready to grasp this promise of manifestation, an electrical storm!

This full Moon and this astrology chart belong to the whole world.   The pain inflicted on refugees fleeing terror only to have their children snatched away and lost, is not an isolated event. Each of us has a veiled prophet within who speaks truth to us, so that we can go deeper into darkness and find the route to actions, which will manifest in justice and kindness.

A Vast Public Park!

Taurus Sun and Moon are meeting in a ‘vast public park’, according to their Sabian Symbol!   There they will celebrate the shared joys of May, the pleasures of Taurus energy, earthy, sensual, imbued with the beauty and love of Venus, ‘ruler’ of this sign. Taurus is fixed, marks the fire festival of Beltane,  and keeps an ancient reverence for the feminine, celebrated all over the ancient world 5,000 years ago, during the ‘Age of Taurus.’   This was a period of huge public processions and gatherings, when tribes met in peace during the season of Beltane to find love and comfort in each other’s presence.

apple blossoms                      photo: Sarah Fuhro

The constellation Taurus marked the two halves of the year for many ancient people. Taurus contains the Pleiades and the Hyades, two important and highly visible star clusters.   At Beltane the Pleiades rise at dawn. At Samhain (late October), they rise at sun set. It’s hard for us to see these great wheels turn in the sky from season to season, but when we do they enrich our understanding of the meaning of change in our lives. Astrology, which came from ancient observation is one way to enjoy and interact with the turn of the cosmic wheel, and to remember that nothing stays the same, but is always in process of transformation.

New Moon in Taurus 2018

Sun and Moon feel the action of Mars, Pluto, and Black Moon Lilith, from their position in another Earth sign, Capricorn.   Mars and Pluto make demands upon the luminaries in their Taurus embrace to manifest their love, because Capricorn demands material evidence.   We may also feel that strong energetic push to make something visible during this season of Venus, whether a new child or piece of art.   Black Moon Lilith is always a reminder of whatever we might choose to forget or ignore. Pluto is also the revealer of truth as we see week after week during this time of revealed sexual secrets.

gnome face in the woods BL                                    photo: Bruce Lhuillier

But the planet most energized at the new Moon is Uranus.  Always on the move, electric, rebellious,  Uranus will move into the sign of Taurus later this day.   This might have a huge impact on earth energy since Taurus is very associated with the element of earth and there is the extra impact of a new Moon cycle. On the day Uranus went into the sign of Aries in 2011, Fukushima was struck by a huge tsunami, and nuclear plant melt down.   But Taurus is a sign of love of the earth. What if the entry of Uranus into Taurus on May 15, hours after the new Moon, becomes a moment of intense victory for the earth, a joyous appreciation shared by enough people to turn our self destruction into passionate appreciation of the beauty and grace of our home?

Gingko Leaf with Dew BL                      photo: Bruce Lhuillier

Despite all the heavy interaction between planets, asteroids and luminaries, between cosmic bodies visible and invisible, this new Moon, embraced and hidden in the light of the Taurus Sun contains the potential for a new way of seeing the world.  Love and kindness are always there, waiting for us to notice.

It’s Almost Time

It’s almost time.

almost time for the change in the light,

but almost time for the poor and weak

to reach out their trembling hands

to each other and to grasp.

It’s almost time for the kind to smile

and be seen

in all their glory,

for the shift in power.

It’s almost time for the silenced to sing,

and for the earth to receive the sweet rain

of justice as it falls on ploughed fields.

It’s almost time to be brave,

and to go the next step

without knowing how.

It’s almost time for the Moon

to rise in the dark sky and let us know

there is more than one way

to see the road ahead.

spadex peeking out of skunk BL                                             photo: Bruce Lhuillier

We know scorpions have a sting which can bring pain and death. Taurus, the bull is filled with the life force of the Earth element, which celebrates growth and vitality.   It is easy enough to feel the sting of the scorpion, but the courage to face into the full presence of what is positive about life, is more elusive. The spadix held in the blossom of a skunk cabbage, reflects the beauty of potential, but what moves a seed or something within us, beyond seed to plant?

light in the stones                           photo: Bruce Lhuillier

I recently learned a new word from the teacher and writer, Jean Houston: entelechy.   The Scorpio full Moon, which takes place each spring while the Sun is in Taurus gives meaning to this word.   Entelechy means full existence. It means going beyond the acceptance of potential reality into actuality. It means the fullest realized aspect of ourselves, our soul in form.

Full Moon in Scorpio 2018 adv

I look forward to watching this full Moon rise at a Beltane ceremony on Saturday evening.   There is a powerful force lined up from the Grand Cross of Sun/Moon and Lunar Nodes. The Lunar nodes mark the site of eclipse paths, and they make an almost perfect cross with Sun and Moon. It gives emphasis to the ‘fixed’ signs where each of the Fire Festivals is celebrated and where the season is most fully celebrated. (Ceres) Demeter, the Earth Mother is embedded with the north node in Leo where Lughnasadh is celebrated. What is the ‘entelechy’ of the Earth?   Do we know how the seed of our planet will develop? For it seems as if this full Moon in Scorpio will give us a vision of that potential. This Sun-Moon square to the Lunar Nodes creates a ‘Moon Wobble’, similar to the energy of an eclipse. The next few days could make us feel unsure of the ground under our feet, and overly reactive, unless we enjoy the ride and react with compassion to whatever is going on around us!

Mars, and Pluto, co-rulers of Scorpio are conjunct in the sign of Capricorn. Here is another opportunity to take a very powerful Earth urge for manifestation and full acceptance and apply it to your life. If there is something from your ‘entelechy,’ your potential, which seems out of reach, now is the perfect moment to have the courage to carve it, to make it visible, to ‘form’ it. It takes tremendous courage to go from possibility to manifestation.  The combination of Mars, Pluto presents us with the need to transform or wither.

Saturn, the great manifester, is in harmony with the Sun and Moon. It’s much easier to feel potential than to turn it into form. The Scorpio-Taurus axis is all about seeds harvested at Scorpio’s season and the bursting forth of those seeds into every form of living plant in the time of Taurus!

Wherever you are, I hope you reach your arms out to salute this full Moon on Sunday evening. Fill yourself with the Moon’s love for the Earth. We are that earth, not separate beings…press the beauty of the season to your heart.

Apple blossoms

In the core of our apple,

the planet earth,

dwells the great polestar

of the underworld-

Lord of Change,

Transformer Eternal,

Hades himself.

With each breath

he draws into his lungs

the Universe begins anew.

He alone has the key

to every rusted lock.

Whoever has walked

across a freshly plowed

field at twilight,

in spring’s season,

and raised loving eyes,

to see the crescent Moon,

adorned in her

diamond earring,

you are about to enter

the drama which,

has no beginning,

and knows no end.
