Aries bahhh relief BLPhoto: Bruce Lhuillier

The Sun is in Aries, the Warrior King. The Sun likes to be in this sign of spring energy. He shines well from Aries, and it’s not surprising that this is the full Moon, which marks Easter and Passover, holidays of rebirth which take place after containment and suffering. The symbol for Aries is the Ram’s horns. This is a full Moon often associated with war as we have seen over the last days. We entered the war with Iraq (March 20, 2003) just as the Sun entered Aries at the time of the full Moon.   But that war energy can always be transformed into other more constructive forms of life energy, if we have the patience and consciousness.

The Sun is jostled and pressured by Eris and Uranus, or Chaos and Revolution. They are a potent combination for a shake up, both collective and personal. Like clay and bread dough, our Sun is everywhere being pummeled, kneaded, wedged into new shapes.

‘There is no place where those striving after consciousness could find absolute safety. Doubt and insecurity are indispensible components of a complete life.’ (Carl Jung)

Like this much-weathered bit of wood, the forces at work on the Sun, and so our consciousness are many. Yet this is the basis for new life forms like the moss to flourish.

Libra Full Moon

Uranus is not the only revolutionary in the chart of the full Moon. Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, is in a square to this spring time Sun. He turns over the soil to expose what is buried beneath, because that is where his kingdom is located. Pluto doesn’t let us forget what we can’t see or would rather not see. Bugs and grubs are probably feasting on this log where it still has moisture and life. The waves and tides of what shaped the bones of a living tree remain in a beautiful design.

A complete life does not consist in a theoretical completeness, but in the fact that one accepts, without reservation, the particular fatal issue in which one finds oneself embedded, and that one tries to make sense of it or to create a cosmos from the chaotic mess into which one is born.’ (Carl Jung)

Venus, traveling in reverse is feeling the power of Saturn. These two are often in conflict and many stories tell the repressive power of Saturn (patriarchy) upon Venus. Yet the signs of these two planets might tell of another story, perhaps the basis for Merlin and Nimue. Each taught the other their style of magic, which gave immortality to both.

Merlin and Nimue

Saturn in Sagittarius is the wise philosopher. Venus in Pisces so very close the Chiron the healer, might actually be an expression of love at a higher level of expression. Pisces and Sagittarius are in charge of universal love, a steadfast love that exists from one lifetime to another, but always in a different form.

This is the season when the Maiden, Persephone returns from Pluto’s kingdom in the Underworld.   Held captive by the Lord of Darkness, she is now Queen of the Dead, except when she returns to greet her mother the Earth.

Aphrodite   Sarah Fuhro

In the core of our apple,

we call the planet earth,

dwells the great polestar

of the underworld-

Lord of Change,

Transformer eternal,

Hades himself.

With each breath

he draws into his lungs

the Universe is born anew.

His trumpet voice penetrates

where justice has been forgotten.

Hades alone has the key

to every rusted lock.

Why then,

did Lady Aphrodite,

bright and beautiful

among all the gods,

so lightly appoint

dark scowling Hades

for the maiden,

Persephone–to be her

chosen spouse?

Whoever has walked

across a freshly plowed

field at twilight

and raised loving eyes

to see the crescent

Moon adorned

by the evening star,

you are entering

the drama which

has no beginning

and knows no end.

Once more the Maiden

returns pure and slender

to be gathered like wheat

in the brown arms

of her grieving mother.

Once more we are freed

from the dark shelter

of womb and grave,

because the Maiden has

risen to embrace and dance

upon the greening earth.

But what of this full Moon in Libra? She is more than a reflection of the beleaguered Sun in Aries. She watches with Jupiter from across the chart and across the sky. If the sky is clear they will be visible as they travel together the next few days.

Jupiter like the Lady Venus is also in retrograde. He went retrograde in February opposite those two change agents, Uranus and Eris, who at this full Moon nestle up to the Aries Sun. Jupiter in Libra, ‘Cosmic Optimism’ for the besieged Aries Sun has kept some balance in a world of uncertainty. But now the Moon must hold that balance.

The Moon is the point of an astrological pattern called a Yod or Finger of God.   Creating the energy for this Yod are the Venus/Chiron combination and Mars and Demeter in Taurus. This powerful combination of Venus in conjunction with the healer, Chiron and Mars in partnership with the earth mother, has the potential for a very focused ritual of Earth love and healing.

The Sabian Symbol for this lovely Libra Moon is: ‘A child giving birds a drink at a fountain.’

It seems like a perfect combination with the Symbol for the Sun in Aries: ‘The gate to the Garden of all fulfilled desires. Abundance made possible by human togetherness and cooperation. Cosmic optimism.’

With each turn of the cosmic sky we have the opportunity to enter a new gate, and discover new worlds of possibility!

This is a full Moon in total eclipse-but it’s a penumbral eclipse.   The earth’s shadow falls across the Moon, it’s visible, but very subtle. A penumbral eclipse is unusual.   There a re never more than nine in a century, and some centuries miss out on them all together.    To notice this eclipse, you need to know it’s happening. It’s like a party for the initiated!   If the sky permits you to see this delicate veil across the Moon, Friday at 7:33 pm (EST), then you are a member  of the initiated. But don’t worry, whether or not you see her physical form in the sky, the energy of this vibrant Leo Moon will still make its mark on your life.

Once again we have a full Moon event with Sun, Moon and many planets at the powerful 22° point, the ‘Master Builder’. The last full Moon was constructed at this intense degree as well. https://sarahfuhro.wordpress.com/2017/01/11/full-moon-in-the-master-builder-degree/  .  What are you building at this time?   Here is the three of Pentacles to show us all three aspects of creation; vision, design, and craft!

The Sabian Symbol for both Sun and Moon represent the discipline necessary to evolve without destroying natural and vital forces. The Sabian Symbol for the Moon: ‘In a Circus, the bareback rider displays her dangerous skill. Keynote: The audacity and perseverance required to control and play with the powerful energies of the vital realm in human existence. Virtuosity.’ Leo is the sign most associated with Ego and the Sun. This is the Ego in its highest form, because it has been ‘tamed’ and yet it retains the vital life force of the horse, and the Lion.

thoth-strength-card                               strength-card

The Sun at 22° of Aquarius has another image of evolved animal energy: ‘A big Bear sitting down and waving all its paws. Keynote: The self-discipline which results from an intelligent development of individual faculties under proper training. Discipleship.’

This is going to be a full Moon of focused  energy, but it requires consciousness to ride with it. The Strength card from the Thoth deck represents this degree in one way, a ride on the power of Leo, requiring mastery of the rider. The Rider Waite Strength card represents it in another way with emphasis on the gentle mastery of power.

Sun and Moon are at this degree, but so is Vesta, she who guards the hearth, and Eris, the goddess of Chaos dwells at 22° as well. Eris  is in close company with Uranus who is electric and a master of high tech communication.  Much of the drama we see in the political waves of the moment seems symbolic of this pair: Uranus and Eris, and their conjunction in Aries, soon to be joined there by Mars.

Also at 22 degrees of Pisces,°we have Chiron, the wounded centaur who heals all others but himself. Chiron is in a square to Saturn. This guarantees that wounds will have salt rubbed into them, and probably from someone in authority. I wonder who that might be? This square lasts for a year and while it will touch everyone, it hits those with these birthdays most exactly:

December 11 through 19 of any year
March 10 through 17 of any year
June 10 through 18 of any year
September 13 through 20 of any year

A square between Chiron and Saturn guarantees old stories come back to haunt us until we learn new techniques to heal ourselves and turn those healing methods out to others. Until we become light workers, and from our experience of pain, draw balm for others, we circle around and around issues of authority, self acceptance, and leap from formless and permanent immaturity to rigid structures, until we no longer know who we are.

But when the heart opens, and the Ego becomes the vital force of the soul, everything changes, and the Saturn-Chiron square represents the master healer, the leader who leads by example, the authority who serves others by opening her heart.   We have a year of this experience for everyone on earth. Why does it seem as if so many lessons must be learned through pain?

Jupiter provides some balance. He is at 23° of Libra, the scales. Because he is in retrograde, he too will soon be in another 22° position. Uranus who is across the chart from him, will also move by direct motion into 22°of Aries, and the ruler of that sign, Mars will join Uranus, opposite Jupiter in 22° Aries.   Twenty-two degrees demands greatness from each of us…we are all expected to build in a ‘masterful’ way.

What if this full Moon in Leo represents harnessing the Wind (Aquarius is an Air sign) and Sun (Leo is a Fire sign) to empower our planet without destroying her? This is where Vesta, (also at 22°) might take on the meaning of the hearth and home as source of electricity. Right now my solar panels are covered in newly fallen snow, but most daylight hours, they are working to add non-polluting energy to the electric grid. The potential to use each moment of cosmic drama to joyful advantage is always with us!

Apollo is the god of light, but he is not the Sun.  His light is the enemy of darkness, and his names, Phoebus and Lyctus mean the ‘bright’ and the ‘life giving’. As we light candles and bonfires for the Solstice and New Year, we are calling him to brighten the dark.

The seventh day of very month (lunar cycle) was his birthday. The first day of every lunar cycle was sacred to him. He, in the form of the Sun is always with the Moon on this first day of a new month.

We have just passed through the darkest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, let us sing to him as Sun and Moon embrace in Capricorn, on Thursday morning!
candlesAt Chanukah there is the potential to connect to our inner light.  Darkness gives us that opportunity to know our own brightness.

Capricorn is a constellation with strong connection to organization and tradition, to a steadfast, but slow ascent to a goal. Maybe this is the reason we have the tradition of making resolutions  for the New Year.   The planetary ruler of Capricorn is Saturn. He likes patience, and dedication. Or as the Sabian Symbol suggests for the degree of the New Moon this week: ‘IN A SUN-LIT HOME DOMESTICATED BIRDS SING JOYOUSLY.

KEYNOTE: The wholesome happiness which subservience to the ideals and patterns of a well-established culture brings to those who accept them unreservedly’.
new-moon-in-capricorn-2016Is your interior a place of sun lit domesticity? Is Apollo your god, or do you acknowledge another deity? Uranus and Jupiter, are in opposition. Life is blessed by Jupiter, but jolted out of peaceful order by Uranus. When these two interact, as they do at this new Moon, you can expect: sudden and surprising news. Jupiter’s famous thunderbolts combine with the  electric excitement of Uranus.  It’s a great combination for a new Moon at a NewYear.   You know you must take an entirely different course in life, to dare and dream in new ways, perhaps secure in the good foundation you have built over the past year.

mainstone-blue-iceBut for these few days around the New Moon, it’s difficult to materialize the Jupiter Uranus drive because Mars, who is energy and vitality is about to mix with Neptune, the dreamer, the illusion maker, the oceanic blend. Mars and Neptune are in the same degree with Moon and Sun. The new Moon is always a great time to begin a new project, but plans sparked by Jupiter and Uranus will have to meditate, or marinate for a few days. The angry energy of Mars may  soften into a spiritual force, instead of an explosive fury.  Listen to your dreams (Neptune) as they speak through Mercury.

There is a healing theme to this new Moon.  Chiron the healer is in Pisces and
connects  to the Jupiter/ Uranus opposition. Healing always seems to involve accepting the whole of a difficult situation. Chiron has a  relationship to Saturn, who makes for a strong organization, and to Venus as she brightens the evening sky.  Her energy of love and beauty could inspire unique artistic expression and a sense of love without boundary. The whole of this crown is made from many separate strands  woven together to form a strong circle. Like the astrology chart of any moment in time, like a strong and loving community, all the planets, must be acknowledged.

The Full Moon in Pisces arrives Friday, September 16, with a healer, Chiron the centaur. If this Lunar Eclipse has a strong connection to your chart, you may experience an up swelling of pain from past experiences, but the remedy comes with the pain. We are not left to doctor ourselves, yet we must be partners in the healing process.

Mars is in square to the Sun and Moon and he has his own centaur companion, Pholus. Both Pholus and Chiron are visitors, possibly temporary visitors from outside the solar system. Each offer healing and transformation of some deep, dark aspects of our shared human experience. They seem to be connected to the ancestral realms and generational healing. They challenge us to look at tyranny, in the family, and inner dialogue.

Physical punishment, shame, and humiliation, were accepted methods of teaching children, in the home, in the school, and in religious doctrine.  They  now seem traumatic. Patriarchy and its rules of how and whom to love have begun to crumble.   Chiron and Pholus tell us there is a wound, but it must be observed, and not judged for it to heal. Will we dissolve into the tears and fears of Pisces, offering ourselves as victim and martyr, or, like the serpent in the picture above, come to accept our whole Self?  That means allowing our less beautiful, less developed facets to be included in the circle.

two-of-cupsThe serpent is part of the symbol of healing as we see in the Two of Cups. It is a reflection of our nervous system and way it wraps around the spine. But healing can only happen when there is balance. This morning a quote in French arrived in my email. The quote was by Dr. Edward Bach, the English physician who developed flower essence therapy. I was startled because it seemed so much in tune with this full Moon chart. ‘La santé dépend de notre état d’harmonie avec notre âme.’ (Health depends upon upon our harmony with our soul.)

How can harmony with the soul be depicted? The square between Saturn and Neptunefull-moon-in-pisces suggests both imagination (Neptune) and focused effort (Saturn) are involved. And then there is love, and with Venus in the sign of balance, Libra, we can take what we have learned from pain (Chiron and the Moon) and transform it through our own creativity and love. This Venus is opposite the energized combination of Uranus and Eris. We must heal our own way, despite what may feel like chaos.

Here is a friend’s message from the morning’s mail:

twisty-tree-sepia“It may be that when we no longer know what to do,
we have come to our real work
and when we no longer know which way to go,
we have begun our real journey.

The mind that is not baffled is not employed.
The impeded stream is the one that sings.”       Wendell Berry

This chart contains the pain and the remedy, the wound and the balm. In this way we come to know ourselves as wise healers. A doctor studies disease in order to heal it, but we may have to study health in order to heal as well.

edward-bachEurope, Asia, Australia, Africa, West in South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica will see this lunar eclipse. But we all know its power to make us feel wounded and vulnerable (Pisces Moon) and powerfully healed (Virgo Sun).   The Virgo Pisces Lunar Nodes are found in the charts of many healers, Dr. Bach was one of them. He gave up a powerful practice and reputation to go into the countryside and developed the healing power of flowers, something simple and available to the poor folk of depression eara Britain.  He believed all illness began at the etheric (emotional) level, and must be healed through the soul power of flowers and sunshine.

The theme of vulnerability and creative response  is repeated in the Saturn /Neptune square, exact at this time.  We can experience this combination as fear and anxiety or creative opportunity put into tangible form.

Jupiter (ruler of the Pisces Moon) has recently entered Libra.   The Sabian symbol for his degree speaks of the themes of this chart:

‘The transmutation of the fruits of past experiences into the seed-realizations of the forever creative spirit.’     keynote: ‘A repolarization of inner energies leading to a creative centralization of consciousness.’

enigmebody Like the sphinx we are heart and head, lion and lady.

Don’t feel just part of this full Moon chart, feel all of it, pain and healing! The Lunar Eclipse will devour the Moon, our feeling receptacle, but she will emerge triumphant and beautiful at the end The lemniscate over the Lady’s head offers the same process we began with, in knowing and acceptance of our whole person, we are eternal.

Shaker paths

A new Moon offers us a new beginning, a path we cannot see to the end. Thursday, September 1st, we experience the entry to a new lunar cycle, which promises wholeness, but only if we are willing to step into mystery.

This process is pictured above with sunshine to light the gate to the place we travel, but no clue as to what we will find along the way as we proceed into darkness.   One thing is promised in this chart: we must honor both sides of our nature, material and spiritual. We cannot ignore either side of our Self, or we will be crippled, nor can we value one side over the other, anymore than we can ‘favor’ a right or left leg if we are to walk with ease. The chart is perfect illustration of the two beautiful aspects of life, our need to keep in touch with our mysterious body, and our illusive soul.

All this talk of body and soul is illustrated in the opposition between the Sun/ Moon inNew Moon in Virgo Virgo and Neptune in Pisces. Virgo is deeply concerned with the health of the body, and most especially digestion and nervous systems. This is a good time to care for and honor the reality of our physical needs. Virgo energy is focused on carefully choosing what will be kept from the harvest for eating now, for winter storage and for spring seeds. This is a matter of life and death in an indigenous society. How we eat, what we store in our body, and how we value our physical health are all Virgo concerns.

Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and so is connected to the nervous system, our body’s communication line. If Mercury becomes over jazzed, the nervous system falls apart and nothing works. Right now Mercury, Jupiter and Venus are all camped in late degrees of Virgo.   This could really cause a kind of vibratory excess…great for dancing, and music, and wild discussion, but not necessarily peaceful!

rock dancing

Neptune is a tidal wave in our life, which leaves us with nothing solid under our feet. He brings us dreams, visions, and illusions. How do we sort out his gifts? If we develop our spiritual talents, acknowledge our intuitive heart /brain, we can swim with him. The only way to weave the material demands of Virgo with the spiritual thrust of Neptune in Pisces is to understand and accept our own duality. Virgo helps us to see the granite under our feet. Neptune reminds us we have a dream side, which cannot be left unexplored.

This is the beginning of eclipse season. The new Moon is a a partial solar eclipse visible in Africa and the Middle East. Even if we don’t see the eclipse, we will experieTroll's Head in the Woodsnce it through dreams and waking imagery, but we must be willing to listen and honor the message. Our culture is so bombarded with messages that we can lose track of any kind of inner dialogue. During an eclipse, with neither Sun nor Moon to guide us, we will have to be our own guide, our shining light. Our self acceptance has to be developed to lead the way in dark places.  This is especially true because Mars and Saturn hold the reins on the opposition between Sun/Moon and Neptune and the Lunar nodes.  With no inner guidance fear and anxiety take over at this time.  But if we are self aware, we can use the energy of these two ‘malefics’ to carry us into new and powerful experiences.

8 of cups

Here is my favorite Tarot card, the VIII of Cups which illustrates the journey to wholeness possible by making contact with our darkest and deepest side. The occult name for this card: ‘Journey to Higher Ground.’ A pilgrim travels with only his staff and a strange luminary to help him on his pathless journey. He leaves behind eight cups still filled with emotional ‘juice.’ There are no guarantees, no maps, no GPS. The promise is ‘wholeness.’

Faery land

‘Our lives encompass highs and lows, inners and outer, positives and negatives. We perceive duality are tossed by the pairs of opposites with only a certain freedom to choose, until we blend sufficiently with the ‘higher’ to see that the ‘lower’ is a vital part of the process and that these apparently conflicting forces interact to generate the dynamic that lifts us into the vast unity which we are. Then we can understand the meaning of ‘resist not evil’; we can accept that whatever comes to us is necessary for our own development; and we can reconcile our two halves. Then we can recognize that our ‘higher’ self is indeed angelic, and even find, as I did that we are walking with the angels.’

Dorothy MacLean, one of the founders of Findhorn community.

Jacks-in-the-pulpits - Version 2

New Moon Woven into a Square of Time

“My soul, where are you? Do you hear me? I speak. I call you—are you there? I have returned. I am here again. I have shaken the dust of all the lands from my feet, and I have come to you again.” –Jung, The Red Book, p. 232

New Moon in Gemini 2016A new Moon involves a meeting between the Sun and Moon, and begins a new cycle of association between the two luminaries of our sky.   Whatever our personal story, they represent cosmic ‘Father’ and ‘Mother’ and their relationship is a monthly journey we all take together.

It begins in the darkness of the Moon. She leaves behind the pleasures and pains of the past twenty eight days, and offers us the same possibility.

We can take a moment Saturday, June 4th to put down our luggage and look around at the place where we stand. The Moon’s disappearance midway through chatty, mental Gemini is a breathing point, a tender moment of silence, before she rolls on, busy about her business of new beginnings.

We need to honor this moment, which falls at 11:01 pm EDT because the tension in the sky zodiac crossis palpable. The planets are in a tight square between Sun, Moon and Venus in Gemini, opposite Saturn in Sagittarius, in square to Neptune in Pisces, opposite Jupiter in Virgo.   This gives full Moon tension and excitement to a new Moon moment. These four signs, Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo are called ‘mutable.’   They are open to possibility. The planets involved carry a message about love with many possible expressions and facets.

Venus who is in the same degree and sign with Sun and Moon says this is all a love song, if we want to take it that way. Saturn in Sagittarius across the way asks about what our beliefs hold with ‘love.’ He is the master of choice and manifestation. He asks: Is love central to our lives, a source of disappointment and pain, a place of solace, a miasma of illusion, or does the word hold all of these? What do we love, and what kind of lover are we?

Jupiter and Neptune stare across the chart at one another. Together they are the rulers of Pisces, the sign where Neptune is currently camped.   Pisces is about a ‘love supreme.‘ ‘God breathes through us so completely…so gently we hardly feel it… yet, it is our everything.’ John Coltrane

Jupiter in Virgo guards the North Lunar Node, the direction of evolution, the head of the sky dragon. . The Sabian Symbol for this degree is ‘A Ouja Board. INNER GUIDANCE.’   Neptune, keeps the faith with the South Node the treasures of the past which includes many spiritual traditions we can draw upon.

carljungredbookEarth based spirituality is symbolized in the equal armed cross with the four elements and the four directions acknowledged and called upon for their particular gifts. This chart like every moment has all twelve signs in the four elements. This particular moment, a time of new beginnings contains this powerful cross within the circle of the ecliptic.

A grand cross can make you feel torn apart or deeply integrated. By acknowledging the complexity of the cross currents of energy in this chart and in our inner makeup, we can perhaps leap over the watery boundary which keeps us limited to only one side of a question.

New Moon in Monkey

The Celebration of the Yang Fire Monkey Year begins with the new Moon on February 7th. This picture says a lot about how a monkey would celebrate a new Moon in the sign of Aquarius. There’s that ever present technology, which has changed our way of interacting with one another as we enter the ‘Aquarian Age.’

aquariusAquarius is a constellation in the zodiac with two ‘rulers, ‘ Saturn and Uranus.  Both are very active in this chart.   Rulers give a clue as to the nature of the energy for the signs. Aquarius has a Saturnic, i.e., manifesting talent, but unlike the previous sign, Capricorn, also ‘ruled’ by Saturn, Aquarius is more likely to create something in a new way or new realm. Saturn, as ruler of Aquarius is influenced by the quirky and revolutionary nature of Uranus. He’s not his Capricorn solid and traditional self. It’s as true with planets as it is with humans that our companions change our rhythms viewpoint.

Saturn in the chart for this new Moon is working in Sagittarius and makes a sextile to the luminaries (Sun and Moon). He is watching them from a Sagittarian vantage point, perhaps suggesting that this is a time for asking what we carry as belief. When our beliefs become too Saturnic our life can turn into a burden of responsibility and ‘shoulds.’ We can no longer see any potential for new perceptions.

IX of WandsThe IX of Wands has a picture of this state of affairs. This manIX wands has successfully fought off all attacks and has neatly arranged the trophies of his victories in a protective wall around him. Yet the protective wands keep out friends as well as enemies. He is waiting for the next attack, rather than looking for new possibilities. He might need to add some of the hospitable warmth of the IX of Cups to his expectations. Maybe we could all learn to forget the source of our bruises and focus on generosity at this new Moon.

The Sabian Symbol for Saturn’s degree at this new Moon day is quite astonishing!   It refers to the festival of Imbolc, which is traditionally celebrated on February 2nd, just a few days before:    ‘The Ground Hog Looking for his Shadow on Ground Hog Day, February 2nd!

Imbolc         Sarah Fuhro

Full Moon is buried in our lungs.

She breathes with us.

Heart beats in a hurry

to keep in time,

with the passage of sweet fog.

The cold air fills and empties

the magic chest,

treasure box
held within,

the holy ghost,
the spirit place,

the temple,
the toolbox,

the home sweet home.

The White Lady draws nigh,

twilight fills in her footsteps.

Feel her furry breath,

as she approaches.

She leaves muddy tracks

in the new snow,

and promises that someday,

one day,

when she consents, spring will be here,

hot, with chill overtones.

Soundless, the Lady is the moss under crystal,

thin February glass on small ponds.

She is the bird of early arrival,

the fox,
as he leaves his lair

to venture forth

on a cold morning

with breakfast in mind,

after long hunger.

Star VoyagerUranus is also making a friendly sextile to Sun and Moon. This means Saturn and Uranus, the planetary rulers of Aquarius are in trine; they share the Fire element, but express it quite differently. Fire from the Jungian point of view is the element of intuition. It jumps from place to place, and cannot be contained.

Uranus is the unexpected part of Aquarius, the far out aspect.  Uranus is in Aries and so we know his nature is fiery as well as unpredictable.   He’s hanging out with the virginal Vesta. This may be one reason the stock market is so erratic. Vesta seems to have some connection to the way we handle money and ‘investments.’

Uranus goads the new Moon (and the Sun) to put some passion into those Sagittarian beliefs Saturn is channeling for us.  The Star, is the Tarot Card associated with Aquarius. This collage version is from the Voyager deck by James Wanless.

Aquarius is the sign of a universal or group kindness. There a promise of great healing in this moment of the new Moon in Aquarius. Jupiter and Chiron are in opposition across the Lunar Nodes’ axis.   Each of us has the opportunity to find a place to offer kindness to a world in pain.   Kuan Yin is the light within, the source of universal compassion.
